Testimonials

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and Virginia helped me navigate my mental health post treatment. She had mindfulness exercises, exposure therapy and daily strategies for me to implement. Talking to her was always comfortable. She is very calming and easy to talk to. She makes you feel understood. She does a great job of remembering small details in conversations, is always on time, and is great with scheduling. I am so thankful for Virginia and all she has done for me!

For the last 4 years or so I have been seeing Dr. Rose Hanna and from personal experience I have had a really hard time finding a good therapist who genuinely cares and actually listens to their patients until I found her. She is very knowledgeable and has a great understanding of human behaviors and phycological factors. She also doesn't fail to warm her patients of the signs that could indeed possibly save the life of her patients and/or loved ones. I highly recommend anyone who is seeking not only a safe haven but professional help to seek her and her group of experts. Thank you so much for all you do!

I have been seeing Dr. Hanna for a few months now and I couldn't be happier!! I have been seeing various therapist since my early teens so I've experienced a large variety of styles and approaches and I can say with confidence that Rose will be able so many people. She is kind and easy to talk to while also being able to call out my BS when she needs to, which is a hard balance for a therapist to achieve. Absolutely 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to improve their mental heath and move forward in all areas of their life. Her office is conveniently located on PCH, parking is free and scheduling is a breeze with her. Thank you so much Dr. Hanna for all you've helped me achieve!

Rose is an amazing therapist! She is very grounded, humble, and gentle. She helped me get through my first episode of depression, when I thought things were hopeless. She encouraged me to persevere with the tools she helped me develop, even when I wanted to give up. She spent time outside of our sessions preparing reflection questions for me in order to bring more insight into our sessions.

Rose is definitely a gem, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist. She is very experienced and is also a professor at CSULB. She takes most insurances, and if she's out of network for your insurance, she gives you the appropriate info to process your claim. As a physician whose patients struggle with depression, I now have new insight into depression and a tremendous value for the importance of counseling. Also, she is a woman of faith and prays for all her clients outside of her sessions with them. If you are a Christian, know that if you bring up your faith, she will take it into account during your counseling sessions. If you are not Christian, she will not bring up faith unless you do.

I was struggling with postpartum depression. I loved my colicky, refluxy baby, but had a hard time feeling the joy that I had been hoping for. Rose helped me see that my feelings were normal and that I was the perfect mother for my sweet little girl. With Rose's help we made it through that tough time. She was such a pleasure to work with. I would return to her if i needed therapy again.
