Virginia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing in California since 2015. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside clients to understand their experiences and develop practical tools for navigating life's challenges. She believes that therapy can help clients build skills to move toward meaningful, lasting change, while creating a life that feels aligned with their values.
Virginia treats depression, anxiety, OCD, trichotillomania, skin-picking, hoarding, phobias, and social anxiety. She also supports clients who are struggling with grief or have experienced a loss — whether the death of a friend, family member, or pet, or the loss of a meaningful life role.
Virginia is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Grief counseling. She is extensively trained in Exposure therapies and Habit Reversal Therapy, and also utilizes Somatic modalities to help people self-regulate and cope with intense feelings.
