AMFT
Your story is one-of-a-kind, and that's why Esthela uses a personalized approach rooted in trauma-informed care. With over 25 years in communications, she understands the importance of feeling truly seen and heard, and brings this experience into therapeutic work to help clients explore their story with clarity, self-compassion, and empowerment.
As a bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist, Esthela is passionate about serving the culturally diverse Long Beach community. She specializes in helping individuals and families navigate anxiety and depression using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). From racing thoughts to family relationships under stress, she works with clients to build practical coping strategies that actually work.
Esthela welcomes couples, adults, parents, and youth from all backgrounds, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions. Family counseling is particularly close to her heart — when one family member struggles with anxiety or depression, it affects everyone. Together, she works to improve communication, rebuild trust, and create healthier dynamics where everyone feels heard.
