Exposure Therapy

Working with your therapist, you'll develop a personalized exposure hierachy - a step-by-step plan for gradually facing avoided situations or triggers. Exposures may be done in real life or through guided imagery, always at a pace that feels manageable and safe.
Exposure therapy helps clients reduce compulsions and rituals by learning new ways to respond to intrusive thoughts and discomfort. Over time, you'll build tolerance for distress while increasing confidence in your ability to cope.
We incorporate value-based exposure, rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help you take meaningful steps toward the life you want. This might include confronting challenges you've avoided that align with your goals, relationships, or personal values.
Exposure Therapy is available both in-person and online, making it flexible and accessible - even allowing for real-time coaching in your home environment.
